Top 10 Reasons I am Excited to Stay Home with My Family this Coming Weekend!

So I just started blogging full force a couple months ago, and unfortunately found out about BlogHer after it was sold out.  It sounds like so much fun and I hope everyone that is attending this year has a blast!  For those of us who are not going to BlogHer, Mom of 2 Boys Wife of 1 is having a "Non BlogHer" party and contest!  Thanks to Cozi I have a chance at winning a $100 sponsorship....wahooo!!!  Here are my top 10 reasons I am excited to stay home with my family this weekend:

1. I worked all week and am looking forward to spending time with the family this weekend relaxing...if you call chasing around two kids relaxing ;)

2. We will be moving my daughter into her own room!!! Can I get a "what what" for private time!

3. Hubby and I are breaking out the golf clubs (his are actually always out!) and we are headed to the golf  course on Saturday..wish me luck :)

4. My son is taking part in a little play tomorrow night...would not miss that for the world!!!

5. I am planning on organizing the closets and taking all the winter clothes out to see what I can sell on eBay.  Trying to make some extra money for our vacation.

6. Food shopping (we love going to Costco and grubbing on yummy food samples)....using Cozi's website to help me with the grocery list!  It's an awesome website and super easy to use too.  I highly recommend checking it out.

7. Going to get my new phone!  I can't tell you how long I have been waiting for this.  I can finally join the real world and become a texter.

8.  Taking the kids to the lake for the day

9. Sleeping in on Saturday!!!  Oh my this is a big one <3

10.  Snuggling with my kiddies, reading books and singing songs before bed.  Nothing is better then this.

The winner is determined by how many comments are left on this post.......
So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE leave me a comment.  I would really appreciate it!  Stop by Heather's place at  Mommy Loves It! when you get a chance...she has entered too :)  So please leave her a comment.   Thanks so much!!!

Isn't it amazing how being a wife and mommy can be such a blessing to your life AND be one of the hardest jobs ever!!! Enjoy your time and make sure you take moments throughout the day to take it all end.

Heh, just a word of warning about number 7 .. I just got my first cell phone before Christmas - up until then, I thought they were silly things and that texting was ridiculous. Mmmhmmm. Guess who can now out-text just about anyone she knows? It kinda grows on ya. FAST. *grin*

I hope you win. I am not sure what the blog her is all about. Have a great weekend..

Great reasons to stay home this weekend, instead of being at BlogHer! I especially love number 10! Nothing better in the world than putting your children to bed, reading to them, snuggling with them, the cuddles, the way they look when they are asleep... sigh! I have only ever been away from my boys for 2 nights - once last year, and once last weekend - 24 hours away from them is my max! I wonder if this will change? Because I would love to go to BlogHer next year!

these are great reasons for missing BlogHer, especially the last one! they grow so fast and you don't want to miss a second of it.

Happy VGNO--Sounds like you have a fun and productive weekend planned! I will be on a soccer field (my daughter has a tournament) during the day both Saturday and Sunday, but Saturday night my husband and I have tix to see "Fiddler on the Roof" at the Pantages Theater (part of the Broadway L.A. series). FUN!

Today I wrote about shopping...I think I may be a shopaholic mommy, too.

Here's a link--I think given the title of your site that you especially would think it's funny.

Take a deep breath and relax. Home is such a blessed place to be. Chicago is busy and stressed out - and your babies would have missed you. :) That being said, I was kind of bummed not to go, either. :) However, mommydom is so much more important than blogging.
