Karito Kids Review & GIVEAWAY!

CLOSED

I was contacted by Lisa from Karito Kids, a super fun interactive program for children that shows them how to make the world that we live in a better place.  She wanted to know if I was interested in doing a review about their products.  So I clicked over to the website and looked around for a while - by the time I was done checking it out I definitely knew I wanted to share Karito Kids with my readers!  I was so impressed by the overall motive behind Karito Kids.  It's something that every child should learn about.

"Every Purchase Helps Another Child
Like all Karito Kids products, three percent of the retail price helps another child—and purchasers decide how! Every item comes with a special code allowing them to log on to karitokids.com, play great games, earn extra World Change™ and direct their gift to one of four causes: school, home, health or food."

There are six adorable dolls to choose from: Gia from Italy, Ling from China, Lulu from Kenya, Piper from Australia, Pita from Mexico and Zoe from the US.  My kids are part Italian and Greek so we chose Gia - the cutest little Italian doll ever!  She arrived standing 21' tall in a huge box, sporting a very cool and chic outfit.  She is a posable doll with hair long enough to be styled and brushed, which my daughter loves doing!   Gia also came with a book "Florence Fiasco" that both my kids enjoyed reading.  Inside the box is a passport with Gia's info and an activation code used to access KaritoKids.com interactive website.  After we registered it brought us to the first screen.  Because we had a Karito Kids Doll we automatically received one point to be used toward our choice charity that Karito Kids helps out.  My kids chose the category "Hunger" and donated their token.  This is what it said after " Next time you eat,  know that you helped a child in China to eat too"  Karito Kids has helped purchase over 4,900 chickens and counting!  That's a lot of eggs :O)  My kids then proceeded to play all the games to earn passport stamps and points.  My daughter really enjoyed playing the Dress Up Game and my son had a blast playing Hidden Quest. The more games they played the more points they earned to donate!  I also liked t that little facts popped up all over the website, making it not only fun but educational at the same time!  Just what everyone parent wants.

You can also purchase Travel Charmers Soft Dolls, Clothing and Accessories and Charm Bracelets. Anything from the Karito Kids website would make the perfect gift for any little girl!  My son even enjoyed participating in the review.  Karito Kids teaches children about other people and cultures, while bringing attention to need.  Kids are able to learn about giving to other's and feeling good about helping. Every purchase helps another child.

If you are interested in learning more about Karito Kids and how it works click HERE for more info.

Oh they're cute! And they don't look like the typical boring store dolls.. cool! I peeked through the site, hard to choose a fave.. but I'd go with the one who calls herself "Pita" for short, the girl from Mexico. :-)

(1)My daughter has been checking them out and she loves them - dolls that aren't boring, she says LOL

Molytail said...

(2)Just discovered that there are also books about the different characters and adventures that they have - cool!

Molytail said...

(3) Aw - and the cutest little cat themed sleeping bag for the dolls to nap in... of course that's gonna appeal to this house of cat lovers! *grin*

Molytail said...

(4)I really like the idea that the points accumulated can be used for something worthwhile - many of the virtual worlds give you points but this seems to actually *do* something good with them, versus just spending them on more pixels, know what I mean?

Gia would be my pick for my 3 year old daughter Sophia! I followed ALL steps for extra entries...Hope I, opps I mean Sophia (LOL) wins! ;)
